At first, it may seem like the topics of creativity and knowledge are different from each other based on what they are generally associated with, but in reality they rely on each other to establish something new. Creativity can be seen as ideas based on knowledge for something new or previously familiar with. Knowledge, on the other hand, is shown as understanding how something works in order to form a creative idea. Surprisingly, creativity and knowledge always find a way to connect in their respective fields. Neither of these subjects can live to their full potential alone however and are very crucial together for the development for a project.

Starting with creativity, it enables a person to think and even possibly create whatever may come to mind in an instant. Creativity has no boundaries during its early stages but in order for a creative thought to proceed further, it will require some knowledge to keep it alive. In addition to creativity having no boundaries, it also shows how an individual or a group may perceive something in their own unique vision just like in art and design for example. Creativity also depends on what a person already knows, not just necessarily on a certain subject and tools required which could be helpful, but more on what the individual might be previously passionate about or want to understand more of. Lastly, creativity is something that can come naturally to an individual overtime whereas knowledge would have to be learned constantly and is not normally inherited.

Next with knowledge is to have some familiarity with a subject and what to use to make something. Having knowledge in a certain craft shows what skills were learned by the individual to create something original. Knowledge is considered essential for the concept of creativity to exist. Without having any form of knowledge to go off of, whether the individual knows a subject well or is just starting to get the hang of it, there would practically be no creativity present on a project. Although it sounds like creativity may come first for an idea, knowledge actually helps lay the foundation for the idea and gives those with creativity more to work with.

In conclusion, creativity helps those who want to express their thoughts and ideas with originality. Having a general sense of knowledge on said thoughts and ideas can help them achieve it. The relationship between creativity and knowledge may have its own differences and limitations based on what they represent and how they are executed, but they go hand-in-hand for any creation made from past to present.
