Websites made through WIX from my Web Design Fall 2021
class at University of the Pacific.
Project 1: Art Historical Website
Objective: Design a website using the Wix website builder platform.
Select a significant 20th/21st century artist, designer, filmmaker,
or performer and create a portfolio of that artist's work.
Project 2: Film/TV Series Promotion Website
Objective: Use WIX and Photoshop to design and develop a web site for a real or imaginary Movie, Film, or TV Series. Website layout needs to be distinct from the film or TV series existing website and modify the wix templated used for the site. Use promotional images produced to promote the film or TV series and links to videos for trailers as needed.
Project 3: Portfolio Website
Objective: Use WIX to design a promotional portfolio web site for your own work. Web site must include an original logo/header bar design using your name. Portfolio web site must include at least 20 images of your work as well as a 200-300 word artist’s statement, a résumé, and an artist’s biography. Web site should have at least four distinct sections with links leading to each individual page.
Final Project: L.E.A.D. Website Redesign
Objective: Use WIX to redesign a website for the L.E.A.D. environmental group. Develop a consistent brand identity that combines a custom logo design with a consistent website layout that emphasizes eye-catching photos, graphics, videos, and improved typography.
